Club DX Contest Rules

• Single Operator Only
• SWODXA members only
• Modes: CW, SSB, and Digital
• Bands: 160M through 6M
  — Includes WARC bands and 60M
• All contacts, USA and DX, count once per band
• No Back to Back Winners
• DX Entities, including USA, count as multipliers once per band/entity
• Awards for top three finishers plus travelling plaque for first place
• NO QSL’s required
• Submit total band/entities and total contacts on honor system
  — No Logs Required
• Contest runs from April 1st through March 31st
• Scores must be submitted no later than the April Meeting to be counted
• Scores should be submitted using this form => Club DX Contest Sheet 
• email the completed form to the Club DX Coordinator: contest@swodxa.org

 

Scoring

• Total DX Entities x 3
• Total contacts logged both USA and DX
• (Entities x 3) + Total Contacts = Score

Example

 

You have made 1,500 QSOs with 150 different DXCC Entities

• Total DX Entities x 3=> 150 x 3 = 450
• Total contacts logged both USA and DX => 1,500 contacts
• (Entities x 3) + Total Contacts = Score => 450 + 1,500 = 1,950
• Total Score is 1,950
